Amaya the Big Girl
Well, my baby girl is just busy learning to do so many things. She is now a pro at holding her toys and chewing on them. She is also working on sitting up and strengthening her neck muscles. She isn't a huge fan of tummy time (just like her brother was), but she doesn't mind so much if she is on her boppy. Amaya is a happy baby so long as she is not alone. She much prefers the company of her brother, whom she finds very entertaining. The more noise Sabastian makes, the happier she is and the louder she coos. It is so sweet to see the adoration she already has for her big brother.
Hot Chocolate Monster
Here are a couple of shots capturing Sabastian's first time drinking hot chocolate. As you can see, he thoroughly enjoyed it! lol!

Busy Monday Morning
The Scheurer kids are hard at work this morning. One of them has voluntarily become my hired help! Sabastian loves to vacuum, so I got a few shots of him working hard at his task. He likes to pick things up from the carpet and place them in front of the vacuum. It is very entertaining. Amaya, on the other hand, is focused on becoming a big girl. She has finally learned how to grasp onto her toy and hold it in her hands. Furthermore, she can now bring that toy all the way to her mouth, which is great since she is in the midst of teething! A very productive day so far for my little ones!

We're Back!
It's been well over a month since my last post, but in my defense, we have been super busy! Since my last post, we have been to the other side of the country and back and we've moved from Alabama to Georgia. We have been in our new home for three weeks now and are finally settled in. We love it here so far! I have a million and one pictures to post, but for now, I'll just get a couple up. Amaya is now over three months old... and teething already! Sabastian is approaching three years old and is eagerly awaiting Santa's visit. Needless to say, he more than understands the concept of receiving gifts at Christmas. At this point, he literally asks not only for everything he sees on TV, but he also randomly asks to go to Walmart so he can get a new toy! How did this happen?? LOL!

Happy Second Month!
Today is Amaya's two month birthday! She had her check up and immunizations this afternoon. She was as dramatic as she could possibly be! She was not happy with her shots and everybody in the building was made aware of it. Thankfully, she doesn't hold grudges and is back to being a happy little lady. Since birth, Amaya has gained over three pounds and has grown one and half inches in length. So far, she is doing great; reaching her milestones and growing as expected.

Birthday Party Fun!
Last Saturday, we attended a birthday party for Johvan's stick buddy Donald's daughters. It was held at the Fun Factory, where the kids could enjoy several activities such as roller skating and glow in the dark miniature golfing. Here are some photos from the party. We all had a really great time, especially Sabastian, of course. He is very good friends with the birthday girls, Q and Alisa.

Happy One Month!
Today is our baby girl's one month birthday... already!! Time sure has flown by and Amaya has grown and changed so much in this short time. She is developing a little personality, much like her brother's. :) Amaya is a delight to us all, even when she throws her little, but loud tantrums. With exception to her tummy issues, she is a happy baby. She has already begun giving us some smiles here and there and has even cooed a few times. She is also a little piglet and has started developing adorable little rolls on her arms and thighs. Her little cheeks are also filling out and she spends a lot of time wide awake now. It's still hard to tell how dark her eyes are going to be... they seem to be a little lighter than Sabastian's and sometimes you can see a hint of green in them! Daddy still has hope that Amaya's eyes will be hazel, but only time will tell. We can't wait until we can introduce Amaya to the rest of our family on the West Coast. Not much longer now!!
